I use to date a guy who was weird. I started to notice when he was around me, I would get very tired and on several occassions - out cold. I also remember getting dizzy, having memory loss and stomatch problems. Do all date rape drugs or drugs dissolve completely. Are they packaged as normal drugs? Do they look like normal over the counter products? Putting in my drinks? Small white colored pills?

It could be GHB tabs… I don't think the drug would be packaged. GHB can be in a liquid form, pill or power… it's clear or white, odorless and tasteless. Some girls have noticed a white residue in the bottom of there glass. Tammy, there is NO question in my mind that he was drugging you! He was! Please make a police report even if you can't remember everything… Make a report so that it has his name on it as a man that spikes women's drinks. This scum bag thinks he's so clever. . . He will get caught and your report could help. The police will tell you that there isn't much that they can do at this time… Tell them you want to make a report anyway and get the report number. He is weird alright, very weird and stay away from him. Please keep me posted and call anytime if you want to talk. |

It is near impossible to prove somebody has had their drink spiked with alcohol on a night out, and it is often used instead of drugs. Do you think that alcohol being used to spike drinks is a harder problem to solve than date-rape drugs?

Yes, I was ......However,The police were wonderful and they took my report very seriously and made me feel comfortable in talking about the Drink Spiking and the Rapes. Even 20 years after the fact.

Why are people so relutant to admit they have been a victim of drink spiking?

Most people are a uncertain and confused about what happened; and reluctance to make a report because the drug has impaired their memory. There may be feeling of guilt or self-blame surrounding the circumstances.
